BTS coming back. Same K-pop industry they left, or totally different now?

BTS's 2026 return is into a K-pop industry that's bigger, more saturated, and more AI-infused than the one they left. Are they re-entering as the elder statesmen who set the bar, or as one big group among many that don't need them anymore?
