The indie web in 2010 was personal blogs, RSS, weird forums, and Geocities residue. The indie web in 2026 is Mastodon, Substack, Bear Blog, neocities revival, IndieWeb microformats. More tools, smaller audiences, less weird. Net better or net worse?
